The taste is MMN. already a significant upgrade over the Jim Beam White, so that about 6-7 euros more output are more than justified. As you notice the years, the more already was the Black in fresh oak barrels in my opinion clearly. It has an intense cereal aroma with notes of fruit and of course American oak.
Overall, liked me best of Black Label from the "standard" Jim Beams. He is around 20 euros now also not so expensive, so you can also enjoy quiet times him as a long drink with cola. If it's something "better / More expensive" to be made by Jim Beam, I recommend a look at the "Small Batch Bourbons" series. Since mine has among other things the "Knob Creek" well-liked.
