The best mouse of all!

As a hardcore computer workers (software developer) is important to me an ergonomic mouse, and previously was with me for cordless mice, the rule of thumb from the sound technology of the 70s: wirelessly making a loss!

This mouse (and also three other mice with unifiying receiver) but I can unreservedly recommend (and do that often).

The additional keys for forward and backward are for manly hands exactly in the right place, even in hectic situations (the casual Sauerbraten game) will not get you to accidentally.
When M510 (I own now two pieces of this model, one for the office, one on the go) bothers me only one thing: I would have liked, to fit in wine red, like my M215 color to my subnotebook.

The M215 is also a great mouse, but is 1 not laser, which clearly minimized on certain surfaces, the precision, and has 2 no back and forth buttons. In addition, she is clearly not as the M510, which is not so pleasant for Mr. Hands. The best life companion of all loves but exactly this compactness with its delicate hands, so she got a separate M215 gray / black combination. ;)

The M705 I had in use and is unquestionably a great mouse. Unfortunately, caught with me soon at the wheel, so to develop a very slight Quietschton which can me as old neurotic however drive to white heat, and besides, I've come for my taste too many times on the button for the screening of the mouse wheel.

I already had several mice (2x M510, 1xM705, 2xM215) in the same room - once even just for fun just for testing on a single machine - in use.
The previously known from 'troublemakers' from multiple wireless devices of one and the same manufacturer has been completely eliminated. The Unifying technology seems to me in this regard extremely robust design.

All three mice work indemnify and perfectly without any driver Installtion under Windows XP, 7 and 8 / 8.1 and under various Linux distributions (openSUSE, LinuxMint, gparted).
Only the reflection period from Windows (any version) the first time you plug in the nano receiver extremely annoying ... but that's another story and should be told another time. ;)

Conclusion: Please dear Logitech I wish the M510 in different colors, preferably in red which was also available for the 215! Then I'm already perfectly happy! :-)
