Post hardcore bands there are, as everyone knows, a dime a dozen. The more difficult it is to stand out from other bands. Eyes Set To Kill, however, create the album with her without even stepping on the brake only once. Rarely has left me so confident and happy in this fast an album. The atmospheric untitled intro passes the countdown to a true listening pleasure, ending again until with '' Behind These Eyes '' the last song from the speakers pop. Already the first song '' Sketch in Black & White '' presents an incredible pace and attracts a right in the middle of the album into. Unfortunately, one must mention that the original singer Lindsey Vogt got out after the debut album of 2006 and Alexia Rodriguez has left the microphone here. However, Alexia does her job damn good, although I prefer the former was still a lot. But that does not diminish the pleasure. Whether melodious guitar solos accompanied by Brandon's ingenious Screams as in '' Violent Kiss '', piano music followed by Alexia's hypnotically beautiful voice as in '' Reach 'or mistaken Double Base attacks of Caleb Clifton as in' 'Darling'. Again and again, creating Eyes Set To Kill wrest their songs something new, so they never sound monotonous and offer a long entertainment factor. The former may even have a pretty horny Breakdown exhibit, the very appeals to me personally. Above all, one must of course mention that much of the enthusiasm Brandon Anderson is due to accompany almost every single song, deposited to a ballad, with extremely rich and absolutely brilliant Screams and that it is a real pleasure here. He and Alexia deliver the duets of a special kind. But even a song like 'Give You My All' ', the entirely dispensed Screams, ignites immediately and no longer lets go. This is the grandiose Alexia thanks to the easy to dream has a beautiful voice and without the Eyes Set To Kill would be worth only half. It gives the album the necessary melancholy. The sound is also very well produced and completes the overall picture perfectly. The sister of the singer, Anissa Rodriguez on guitar provides the necessary skills to perfect the sound. As Alexia and Brandon in '' Into the Night '' have said, '' Give the beat just a chance '', so you should absolutely this album a chance. A masterpiece.
