When making my birth list, I really hesitated between ERGObaby and BabyBjorn. Today, my daughter is 21 months, I finally bought the two, and I have the necessary perspective to make an assessment. In summary, the two products are complementary because they do not use the same ages of the child. With us, the ERGObaby served 0-2 months, then 10 months ... I use it again! And the BabyBjorn is really handy between 2 months and 10 months.
Here is the summary of my experience:
After reading a lot about internet that advised against the BabyBjorn, I had put the ERGObaby on my list of birth, so I received for the birth of my daughter with the small reducer cushion. It has been very helpful the first 2 months, especially in the evening, at the hour of weeping, where we made the 100 steps with baby in the apartment! Also very useful for walking, my daughter preferring largely be against me in his stroller the first months. She cried a little when I was putting in, but seemed to feel good as soon as I started walking and soon fell asleep against me.
But quickly, properties longer possible to use it: my daughter felt too tight in the seat insert, she could not be placed with the legs around my waist, but seemed to feel bad in `' frog position '' without the cushion. The settings are also super easy, rather than on the ERGObaby where it is difficult to adjust the tightness of the straps: we always feel that the baby is either too tight, sometimes too little.
I can not attest to the use of the BabyBjorn with an infant, but if I had known I would have bought this BabyBjorn earlier.

A few months later, I returned to the ERGObaby: at 10 months, my daughter has become too heavy to be worn with the BabyBjorn, it pulled me on the shoulders and on the back, and after some time, it ' was quickly tiring for me. And there, the Ergobaby suited him perfectly, because from that age, though she managed to put her legs around my waist.
My daughter is 21 months now, of course it works, but I always use the ERGObaby, to pick her up at the nanny, to go for a quick run to carry on returning to walk when she is tired, for wear at home when she's sick and she wants to stay in my arms ... etc. How convenient when the child begins to walk, and asked every 5 minutes alternately arms / walk, arms / walk, etc!
