The best Q / P ratio for office use

I bought this mouse in the first place because she was wired. I have owned wireless mouse, and I dropped. For me wireless technology not only brings nothing appreciable but leads to manage battery problems, and responsiveness of the mouse is sometimes questionable.

The M500 is rather large (length 124mm x width 68mm x height 41mm max), but it is also suitable for small hands through his sculptures, which reduce the width to 56 mm felt. Warning: this mouse in form is only suitable for right.

It will be operational by connecting it to your PC; but better download the configuration software available on the Logitech site, in order to enable all the features.

Most of this mouse are:
- With its laser sensor it works perfectly on almost any surface, such as fabric sofa, which is important when using a laptop. Only the glass will prove inadequate.
- The easily detachable wheel allows ultra-fast scrolling, delectable with an Excel spreadsheet software.
- The lateral thrust on the wheel let you control the scroll left or right, very practical in a spreadsheet.
- With your thumb you can order the two buttons "Previous / Next" to quickly scan documents or scroll through your history of web pages.
- Comfort (for righties) and beautiful finish.
- You can also choose to activate the parameters of buttons specific to the applications of your choice (Word, Excel, etc.), and this software by software.

The weak points are:
- If you click the wheel as if it were a middle button, the default feature will "change document" that is to say that you can quickly navigate between different applications open simultaneously. Personally I find that this option does not constitute a significant advantage over the icons displayed by Windows in the lower band. I prefer the feature "middle button" that allows you, when you click a hyperlink to open a new tab in your browser without losing the original page.
This weakness is very relative, but you will need to download the Logitech software to select the option that suits you best.
- The vertical click wheel works fine, contrary to what I read in older reviews (maybe was it a bug corrected today); but I find it too hard imperceptibly click.

I am not a "gamer", and therefore I can not tell you about the performance of the M500 for the game. The sensitivity of the laser sensor does not exceed 1000 dpi, which may be insufficient for some applications. However, you can define set of parameters, such detection of the game.

For me, the M500 is a very precise mouse, pleasant, and enjoys very interesting features for its price.
