I have now for several weeks researching the currently current eReaders, a few days, for example, had also arrived the Oyo of Thalia in the test, and I am now at my absolute winner: SONY PRS-350th The Reader has everything I was looking for: excellent workmanship, super long battery life without recharging (2 weeks and more; with daily use). Touchscreen, without adversely affecting contrast or background brightness (no extra foil installed, but infrared-guided position detection). Very easy to install DRM-protected tracks. (Meanwhile) quite a large number of publications in the field of German EPUB eBooks. Integrated dictionaries. Variable font sizes. Super Handling of PDF files (eg multi-column scrolling from top left to bottom right - ingeniously solved). These and weight (155g), the part is due to the size (for touch functionality only 5 small haptic modifier keys 5 inch screen) unbeatable when it comes to mobile use. But at home I read currently only with the Sony Reader. That's just super convenient and enjoyable. I have the device always with you!
