The best smartphone on the market?

Design: The delicate appearance and slim appearance are deceptive. The smartphone is significantly greater than it implies by its simplicity. Music: The music player of the Xperia Z2 is, as usual from Sony, designed immensely appealing. The structuring is clear, the symbols clearly and despite the linear structure of the player acts in no way boring. Display: Finally Sony has done it! After at least one year, weak viewing angles and gray veils Sony has finally an IPS panel installed and lo and behold: It looks really really good! The 5.2 inch screen is color vigorously again, exaggerating the contrasts not as extreme as a SuperAMOLED and has an incredibly clear white (it had compared to the Samsung Galaxy S4, which rather has a cool blue). If you are into extreme contrasts and even more vivid colors, is better off with a SuperAMOLED, I personally like the more natural colors, which is why I would always prefer a LCD. The viewing angle stability can be no reason to complain about and thanks FullHD and the already-mentioned stereo speakers on the front, making the movies look really fun, even for two.

Performance: The performance is, the Snapdragon owed 801 and 3 GB Ram, at extremely high levels. Camera: For me personally, the most important feature in the smartphone package. The Handycam a modern smartphones replaced my opinion now cheap digital cameras, which really demonstrates the Z2 highly impressive manner. The pictures look very natural and do thanks to 20 megapixels on the television still fun. In artificial light and low evening light, the camera can brighten the images very well, would be seen without doing excessive noise. The numerous adjustment possibilities make fun and besides funny gimmicks like AR-effects there are also interesting features like Timeshift, in the parts of a recorded videos can be played in slow motion, or background blur, similar as in the new HTC One M8, this effect takes two camera lenses, is achieved with two photos taken in immediate succession. Since I work-related travel frequently, I am happy because the memories gained noon sights or evening with colleagues to hold the bar firmly on screen. A DSLR is not replacing the smartphone of course, but for everyday use it is far more than satisfactory.

Conclusion: The Sony Xperia Z2 scores with its elegant design, its powerful battery, the excellent acoustics, both the phone and while listening to music, the strong performance and the viewing angle stable display. I can write a very strong buy recommendation for each issue, seeking the most modern and most powerful thing to find on the market. Especially for camera enthusiasts and friends who want to enjoy high-quality materials, I can only recommend this smartphone. Compared with the S5, it stands out by those very choice of materials from the camera and suggests that the HTC One M8 to lengths (remember subjective impression!).

Update (04/06/2014): In the meantime, it has been found that the smartphone as the Z Ultra is to operate with each conductive pin as well, such as with a pencil.. Very nice gimmick, but actually makes it easier for the post of notes.

Update (11/07/2014): The features of the Z3 are now passes to update to Android 4.4.4 also on Z2. The system is still Ruckelfrei and liquid, according to benchmarks it has even become a bit better performance. The camera has received many new add-ons, as well as many apps carry a fresher look. Now, it is also several small apps at the same time take into operation.
Bin since the date of purchase still extremely satisfied, the Xperia Z2 would not want to miss!
