I had initial difficulties with the SC (Smart Control) anyway. The control of my plasma (TX P42GT50E) turned out to be a bit bitchy because always two steps have been done instead of just one. In the volume, for example, or in the menu it went straight on two stages. After changes in the device settings suddenly went nothing more. Although I was able to control everything other yet, but the plasma is no longer. Until I dahinterkam that the Sync over Wi-Fi (Hub on the power supply) does not work reliably (at least for me). No idea why? Perhaps because of my system?
After I had the stroke then connected directly to the PC (Windows 7x64) I needed only the command repetition on 1 runtersetzen and everything was in butter.
The SC reacts very quickly and reliably even in the sun, which is not, of course, by wireless surprising. For me, again an improvement over the conventional infrared FBs.
The app for the course I also installed (iPhone 4) and configured. Is ne nice gimmick but for me rather secondary, since the operation of the SC is ideal and almost perfect for me.
