I bought my first Ultrasone few years ago me a HFI-580th A great headphones for both stereo and for the Mac and for years my absolute favorite! By Performance 880 the manufacturer has upped the ante still everywhere a shovel. The new model sounds fantastic and makes me even more immersion in the music than with the HFI was possible. The decentralized arrangement of the membranes, the feeling arises to sit in the middle of the action ... The music has simply another dimension! He wears really comfortable and has a great design. From a processing perspective, the 880s are impeccable. The update was worth it!
Addendum: The replaceable cable with microphone can be the way to use both the Mac and the iPhone and the iPad. At the Mac, I use it a lot for Skype - the iPhone can thus make calls (if you like it - which is finally a full-size headphones). For the stereo a second long cable is supplied with a large jack plug.
