This is truly the most powerful SSD in its class. I plugged it into a SATA II port and flow rates are really excellent: 164 MB / s write, 207 MB / s read. Read / write: about 105 MB / s both. SATA III is even bigger but I can not test it yet. I am delighted with this purchase for my mac: start in 20 seconds, applications launch immediately etc.
