1. The Great Die-Off
The opener starts relatively slowly, then picks up speed on typical but RA and is a majestic opening track, which goes like just about every song in his ear and there is no longer even want to get out too quickly.
However, it is a slightly different opener than on albums like Endgame and The Sufferer and the Witness.
Nevertheless, it is a very good introduction to this album, which is nothing last, is by a breakdown, as one would say in the core area. In this section, I see singing in concerts the crowd.
2. I Do not Want To Be Here Anymore
Every Rise Against fan will know that it is here to the first and (so far) is only single. She got a Lyric video and a fantastic music video (And I say the one who usually nothing on music videos are).
This song is the one that would serve me as an idea for the album. So I would be asking someone of Rise Against does not like the TBM was. So I would play for him this song. He describes the album for me pretty good that it's not hard is like The Suferer and the Witness but not as slow as some songs on Endgame.
3. Tragedy + Time
With Tragedy + Time and Song number 4 we have my favorites on the album.
Tragedy + Time reminiscent of the beginning of her somehow Making Christmas.
For me this song would fit on each RA from album The Sufferer and The Witness.
It is powerful, has a text to I now no longer get out of your head and the bridge or the middle part calls it as you want ... It's so good that I got goose bumps at first hearing. So this song clearly belongs among the best songs the RA has ever produced.
4.The Black Market
The title track .... The title track has for me always a very great importance and should already stand out, after all, bears the album its name.
And what can I say, it is the guys absolutely succeeded. This song is my daily catchy since the release of the album and is probably the song that I've heard the most. It is in my opinion a totally perfect song.
5. The Eco-Terrorist in Me
This song impressed me already at the 20 second preview in iTunes (you betsellte the way there before, you got this song before release).
It is the song of the RA approach brings back to the post-hardcore, as he is known by STYG (Stick To Your Guns). It is hard enough to fit on albums like Siren Song of a Counter Culture or The Sufferer and The Witness and has yet to miss this clean parts that also this song a catchy tune.
6. Sudden Life
Just another typical RA Song: Slow start after he takes on momentum.
And only the chorus ... Polyphonic singing / pretty good discordant instrumentation, and then it goes on as normal. Just awesome!
However, I must say in this song I'm missing something, I just do not know exactly what. Is it the variety RA songs usually have, I can not tell you exactly what I'm missing. But I personally think it is the weakest song on the album, but it's all good.
7.A Beautiful Indifference
The 7th song of the album RA shows from which genre they come. Nix Hardcore, Nix Hard Rock, here we have a real punk rock. The song is loud. melodic and white by skilful tempo changes convince and adds variety. It's another one of those songs with which one could identify RA and hear me the first time already stayed in the head. In the end it loses again at pace, taking it but shortly afterwards, and again I imagine how this song would go off on a concert.
8.Methadone
Now we have a song about I am divided on the beginning is great, Tim's voice is simply breathtaking. The chorus is just great, I have already mentioned that Tim's voice is just about the limit?
But it's with this song as with Sudden Life, I lack something, but here it can not definitely be the variety. I do not know it but also, it remains for me just simply not in my head ... it's a damn good song and I have something to moan again.
9.Zero Visibility
Here again is an exception song!
It's the song with the best chorus of the entire album. I myself singing it every time with, regardless of other people. The song in the whole reminds me quite strongly at The Approaching Curve so the verse is spoken to a part of what I was already was pretty good, as it adds variety. Here a part of the verse is now spoken and sung part.
10. Awake Too Long
Once again, an intro the fast and catchy comes along.
Again one of those songs you from musical ago to older albums could grab any and would aufallen a difference.
But in this song I definitely do not have the variety in tempo. While the majority of the songs on the album comes up so I miss this element here very strongly.
11. People Live Here
The Rise Against ballads can we know songs like Roadside or Hero of War. But what they have carved with People Live Here out, is just about the limit. It's this one song mentions each, when you talk about the album. The song that everyone likes. The song can everyone sing.
He just give me goose bumps every time, every time this feeling that I have when I hear a really good song. I could listen to this song for hours without being bored. I'd sing along with as many as 95% of the time.
12. Bridges
We are already at the end of the album and the end must always yes bangs.
Here again is the alternation between verse and chorus. It just fits again super (I know I am repeating myself, but it's just so). It closes this album just starting so well. It brings a return to a normal state after People Live Here let one relax.
The best is here though not the end, but here comes definitely something good in the end.
Conclusion:
So what can be to the black market to say in conclusion. For me it's definitely equate with the other albums. There is nothing to envy in, although it is different from Appeal to Reason or Endgame but that some RA here insinuate pop-punk, is absolute nonsense.
To somehow exceed this album yet (seen by other performers from) is not an easy task.
I was once again confirmed why I so love RA and why I call it my favorite band.
