I could test the 18-140er directly with the 18-105er in conjunction with the D7100 ausfürlich. The 140s is clearly valent (sealing ring, metal bayonet, something better processing). The length has grown by about 1cm. The image quality is better in my opinion than the 18-105er (it draws in all focal lengths from sharper). The Image Stabilizer continues to work very well. I would recommend the 140s absolutely, provided the price is right. Given the lack of equipment and the performance was a prize in my opinion, in the amount of 350, - absolutely justified. Despite Nikon's pricing I forgive this 5 stars because the lens is currently simply the best travel zoom lens on the market. Greeting Thomas
