De facto the 4 reasons:
-> The resolution 2560x1440 provides 70% more than FHD and the 27 "size appropriate but is not as mind-boggling as a 4K resolution, which can be recorded leistungstechnisch not make sense of the latest generation graphics cards, even in SLI..
-> 120 / 144HZ. Not only during long gaming sessions, but also in the daily PC work (Coden, Office, ...) the image with 120 / 144HZ acts subjectively unequal quiet and pleasant than with 60HZ. Anyone who has savored the added value that can not go back.
-> Brightness + image quality: behaviourless satisfied. No dead pixels, deeper, richer and - in my view - genuine, rich colors. The brightness I have - when used at night - adjust downward, since it is otherwise too bright.
-> G-Sync: was skeptical whether the feature brings something. In fact, this value is in my view one of the largest technical steps in the monitoring segment in recent years. Jerkiness that sometimes occurred even at high FPS values are no longer perceptible. At low FPS rate to profits anyway it. But I tend to fall on the difference even with FPS> 60.
In short: In the combination of all these features, the monitor is unparalleled. Who can do without some of these features found in competing products more favorable and qualitatively the same values alternatives. But if all these features would like to use combined - as I: The currently remains only this choice. To - unfortunately - hefty price.
It is hoped that this price drops somewhat when BenQ sends his direct competition monitor on the stage. Announced he is at least already.
EDIT:
After almost 3 months I need to update the review: I just got on the entire bottom of the screen length a "Leuchthof". The pixel function, but if the entire image black (or dark color), then I have a on the bottom of the screen length ~ 0.5cm wide white, bright lights. Especially when BluRay view this is obviously suboptimal, since right there are the black bars. Have the Amazon support already written and will keep you posted.
