The Q300 consumes at maximum control setting and at 500 g gas per hour. For the complete soaking I run about 30 minutes to grill. Then the cast pan is nice and hot and the temperature of the aluminum cover very stable.
We like to do steaks on the grill. But it also a lot of other things go. Steaks get nice brown stripes (branding). This looks at serving nice. Those who want it can also turn the meat to make a crisscross pattern.
- Indirect: Without the middle burner.
- Duck
- Casseroles
- Gratins
- Pizza: Both burner at full throttle with pizza stone.
- Fillets: let both burner and beautiful.
- Smoking with smoker box (but goes better on a charcoal grill)
In the so-called rust. Flavourizer bars are embedded. These ridges can effectively prevent fat dripping onto the burner and burns there.
We will still equip the grill with a cast iron plate, it extends the possibilities. In our Q200, we have put a plate on the oven shelf this; the Q300 is taken out a half of the grate and sets purely the plate.
The grill supplied loose a 4-6 person family.
Thanks to the materials of the grill is almost indestructible. The grate is indeed enamel, but it is recommended to put the grate under oil. Since the Emailie time gets fissures and then forms rust. This need not be.
Now we need thanks to Weber a new playing field for our good Q200 ;-)
