I then decided in September 2011 to finally create a high-quality pan - because quality will be worth so.
In the beginning everything looked great from - solid pan, heat resistant, test winner, planners pan bottom and a super coating.
The baking results all excellent - comparable to a copper pan with the advantage that nothing adheres.
However, after 4 months I unfortunately had to conclude that the non-stick coating more and more failed, and the cleaning was more difficult each time after use.
On the bottom of the pan remains after cleaning a whitish film of widerum ensures that when using everything hangs on it. Soaking - and rub with oil is hopeless - even with a fingernail, the film would seem to remove - no idea what I'm dealing with? (Chemical degradation of the coating?)
After more nine months this behavior was getting worse - even the pan edge now forms after using a dark, teardrop-shaped deposit which should also be removed as good as not. (Optical and best comparable to that of the liability with burnt sugar - I have, however, never used).
As some reviews with the same defect are present here, I assume that it is a manufacturing defect of only one conclusion can be - the CeraDur professional coating is unusable.
By the way: a bought at the same time cheap pan a renowned food discounter looks still like new ... good must therefore not be expensive.
The pan is a complaint or going back ... so please do not WMF.
