Annoying Annoying. So what I knew yet by any controller. Whether Super NES, N64 or PS1-PS3 of course. The respective first controller of my console came with went with me to the end through thick and thin. In each of these consoles were the years and then I was not so controlled and "grown up" as I am today. In other words, the controller could ever unceremoniously fall off the table or otherwise perished.
My PS4 controller I I own since Germany start the console, however, always treated with the utmost care. Hours of play I would now approximately 300-400 hours specify so much of anything I say now times. The majority of hours is due to the game Destiny. Well and now? Now the thing is already over. Just now, the L2 button has more or less adopted. It depends and can no longer be hung. That is my character is now permanently in the zoom during shooting or Drive Club would then probably the brake. What a bummer really I'm really pissed off because just turns out that the Ansonten absolutely satisfactory controller really high bottom drawer.
So now I have to look if I get replaced under warranty without any need to send the same to the entire console. Then let's see how long will the next Contoller. But as I said what I now saw itself after all, have heard and read, I stand by my opinion. EARLIER was better! Since you can now like to again say .... Aaaah again as a hopelessly outdated :-)!
1x Star! Sony future batches please build quality I know. Anyway, you can for 60 euros (!!) probably a pad expect to previous claims does well enough. Not like that!

So I had the problem with sending a few weeks ago. I would advise the Support of Sony to call. Have there my problem and described the failure of the pad, and so their inclusion therein. The also go step by step through everything with you. At the end of me an email was sent with a dispatch note which I just had to stick on the parcel and could then loschicken the package very easily. According to support the waiting time is up to 4 or 6 weeks (I do not remember exactly), but my package was for something more than a week back and my defective Controller was just replaced)

Update 2: as my controller is returned and was in fact promised such of the website exactly on the desired day of the Post picked up in my operation. Hassle that was not possible, however. The hotline was twice more than 20 minutes can not be reached in perpetual holding pattern. There is a simple form that you must fill it. In principle, you have only the serial number of your PS4 write standing on the left side of the device under the bar code and enter there.
