Second album of the Doors, Strange Days is a continuation of The Doors appeared that same year, 1967, with two or three things that make it indispensable. Instruments are expanding on Strange Days Jim explodes with his first moog while a studio bassist was recruited to relieve Manzarek to synth bass; but the arrangements are simple and sound like a childish balance: guitar and organ on the right, left and bass drums in the middle while the voice withdraws slightly, like the fairytale You're Lost Little Girl Equally are essential vapors People are Strange and honky-tonk piano; while My Eyes Have Seen You galvanized and prepares When the Music's Over, in which to complete its disk Morrison again we stretched the scope of the song, with solos and incorporated slogans but this time it's the music that is his only friend, and when the music is over you have to think off the light.
