Keane are the piano, Keane had but lately more and more electronic, but what led to the breakdown of the great emotions had worked. Now they have released their fourth album with Strange country and return to their roots and strengths. The piano comes back clearly used and the proportion of electronic influences has declined. Already the first single Silenced By The Night joins the songs of Hopes & Fears Albem and Under The Iron Sea. It is not entirely acoustically held as the songs on Hopes & Fears but not controlled to the extent that it would fit on Under The Iron Sea. The Track Watch How You Go one represents this more clearly established. And you want to be smooth to put Tom Chaplin and listen to him further and indulge in thoughts. Of particular note is the urgency that exude the individual songs. They act clearly driven by an ambition to be just no disk copy Hopes & Fears.
Fascinating, I found the presentation of the Deluxe version of the short story about a woman who runs away in front to meet their zurünftigen father, the feelings for her cherishes rather than her mother. The story is as exciting as telling short to be allowed that it is hoped a concept album based on the story expect. And so I looked at first in the songs a continuation of the story. What then it happens, each with its own memory and its own imagination is left.
Keane reflect on this album their strengths and act as if they were still fresh, with the experience of a band that already has three albums released in advance, at the beginning.
