The EPC version from 1997 is indeed "quieter" but error free, "original analog tapes" with DDD original?

As early as 1997 are under the "EPIC" labels different remastered versions of JMJ albums appeared. (EPIC belongs since 1988 already for the Sony Group.)
Also this album is no exception and is available under EPC 2 488 144 since 1997.

This one has sat down with Sony and many now again remastered new is to be welcomed, but it was partially unfortunately not worked well or - and this is after I bought several of the new 2014/2015 remastered albums, a be me more and more firming speculation - perhaps just an "improver" Rechenalgorythmus readily human intervention / control hunted about the recordings.

The presented results were obviously not followed up properly, because it contains clearly perceptible error that could have been avoided, or to correct. And that does not happen, above all, in the version from 1997. The costs definitely two star.

Are Track 1 and 2 ok, is very clearly perceptible in the fade-out of track 3 that here was apparently really only one software at work: The synth starts pumpmen to / swing: loud - quiet, bright -dumpf. The birdsong is almost completely eliminated.
A direct comparison with the 1997 version confirmed that this should not be so necessary.
No reasonable and carefully working person would deliver something or are "good" for.

In Track 4 was from 45:55 clearly massive hidden than in the '97 EPC version, which runs much more homogeneous. At 46:30 there is a dropout who is not also present in the 1997 version.
