The essence of the Foos

The essence of the Foos

Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace (Audio CD)

Customer Review

I hear the Foo Fighters for a long time, can say that I know almost all the songs of them (incl. All B-sides, OST tracks and Accoustic stuff next to "Skin and Bones"). And as any fan knows, Grohl's musical assets is very broad. Each of the five existing panels spread so far a different mood, even if you always realized that this is clearly a question of the Foos, are worlds of thought between the first disc and "In Your Honor". And a piece like "Everlong" is, in spite of the same high level, not with "Best of You" and comparable neither with "Disenchanted Lullabys", a "Learn to fly" is not "my hero" while just emotional.
And now come Dave Grohl and his men with a sixth album, brings all directions, in which the band moved together so far, partially fused and processed genius (using Gil Norton). And at only 12 songs. The Hammer.
While listening I felt really reminds all slices of Foo Fighters. They have taken the essence of their best work together and pressed onto an album. In addition, they have evolved musically and Dave's voice is with age better, clearer, more precise.
This is large / very large pop / rock / 70s / Tribute / Modern Art. Definitely something for connoisseurs and those who want to be there.

PS: A word about Amazon's grandiose takeaway. Had the CD pre-order a few days ago and she received today, the day of publication, at approximately 12h conveniently delivered to your door. Thank you very much.
