Of the approximately 5 different SD / CF adapters that I've tested so far, this is the first, with the Eye-Fi Pro X2 works fine in my EOS 7D! With all other adapters, the card is either not detected until, or after a few shots of the famous "E" code appeared on the screen and the pictures taken were gone. This adapter even holds through "continuous fire" in RAW + JPEG. Emptying the buffer and transferring the images to the SD card then takes indeed an eternity, but that's up to the Eye-Fi SD, which unfortunately only Class 6 dominates. By dopplete shield the card in the camera (metal cover of the CF adapter and camera CF slot metal), the range is quite small, only a few meters, but for the image control on the iPad, which is anyway close to the camera , it all goes. In addition, the two sheet metal covers of the adapter with a knife blade can easily stand, which increases the range noticeably.
4 stars there because the Adapter - at least my copy - is not working particularly clean. I had to remove the Cutter the ridge on SD slot and the slot buckle slightly, so that the SD card was used without violence and einrastete clean. The label of my Eye-Fi Pro I had unfortunately ruined at the first attempt.
The supplied adapter incidentally does not match the picture. The color of the print is purple instead of the illustrated turquoise, and the adapter is labeled "4th Generation", should therefore be a successor. When unpacking, I was skeptical at first, just because I wanted the adapter shown - this is in conjunction with Eye-Fi often recommended in various forums. But since everything is working as it should, the thing might look from me, as it wants ;-)
