The first disappointment ...

First of all: here writes an absolute Interpol fan who knows by heart all other CD's domestic and and has the band brings this indescribable feeling of moments.
But this I think is inaudible! And it is not because of the instrumental parts (which are, incidentally, excellent), but in Paul's voice and his vocal melodies.
Where once was plenty of room for melodies and Paul Banks has retained fortunately, there is in this plate the slogan "More singing is more!". And that was in the trousers - less would have been more!
The songs are the song so packed that no more room for their own imagination and the other instruments remains.
And the constant doubling or even tripling of the vote! And this pseudo harmonies!
I may sing his voice and his way, otherwise I would not be a fan, but too much is too much -. Even with the best things of this world!
The full feeling is to be already the second song and unfortunately remains until the end. Even the multiple Listen brings nothing, I have the CD probably already more than 30 times heard me or partially tortured.
I would prefer the guys (or better said Paul) say: "! Sorry, but that was nothing going on, from the studio and record the vocals again" Or: "Where can I buy the CD without singing?"

Well, each time delivering a blank shot from - and the plate could have been so great!

ps: the solo album of Paul Banks aka Julian Plenty (... is skyscraper) is better by a mile! Buys time and the rather waits for the next Interpol.
