The game itself is excellent, recommended update only partially on PS4.

Note in advance because of the latency: PS4 make sure the audio settings to PCM, and the amplifier as possible on something with THX or DIRECT / pass through / straight. With SingStar can be a practical way to measure the latency: PCM 30-40ms (depending on the "Listening Mode" at the amplifier), Bitstream 80-100ms.

I have now also made the update to the PS4 version (50 Eur Amazon UK, just under 90 Eur Amazon DE is mE coated, in particular from 70 Eur in the PSN store without cable is straight when looking at the PS3 price almost insolent). About the game itself has been written in the PS3 version enough that I focus in particular on the differences of PS3 / 4 version. The game itself deserves 5 stars, the PS4 Implementation disappointed somewhat in details, therefore "only" 4 stars.

Most of my PS3 DLC is available (incidentally only in the PS Store but not in the in-game store to see), the free download on the new PS4 works fine. A few (Bach Smith, Blues Brothers, Otis Reeding) currently missing (yet !?). This allows to live, even if it is not optimally safe. Even with SingStar PS3 catalog is only about half available on the PS4 after 3 months. Whether the marketing tactic is or technical reasons has (and then especially what), I would be interested times. Unfortunately, there is no information about Ubisoft, which states only, one can transfer his free DLC (which is so at least not yet entirely true).

The audio lag when connected via HDMI (-> Onkyo Reciever -> TV) is actually noticeably better than the PS3 version (comparison also only via HDMI). I think that's good because the analog path can be known, do not go with the PS4 and so you may save more cable. In the menu there are - as in the PS3 version - every now and then small trailer. That's not bad, but is surprised especially with the PS4 that even now should have enough power to navigate through the menu. About one year after the release of the PS3 version is supposed to expect but that such errors are corrected (especially on better hardware) ...

The game can be really not record during the actual (guitar-) playing, but only in Menüe. Even if I do not need this feature, I find this restriction cheese: They want it to record his playing, and not the menu ??? (Yeah, I know, is due to music rights, but that does not change the fact that this is so botch)!

For all buyers to 31.1.2015 there are all Jimmy Hendrix DLCs (12 songs) as an action for free, very nice if you would buy anyway. A somewhat more mixed action for early buyers would be desirable, but I also do not want to complain (no matter what DLC is free, you will never meet the tastes of all yes).

Compared to the price (which is significantly higher than the PS3 version fails), the update of the PS3 is not worthwhile, or just for those who like me want to just separate from the PS3, or Jimmy Hendrix fans that in itself any event would buy all Hendrix Songs (Normal price 30 Eur).
