Here the bounce Wall comes into play. I have used the Wall for portrait and Halbportrait shootings a few days ago at night. Without Lichtassi this lighting would have been impossible, because it was too windy evening for small tripods. Since we wanted to shoot in the late evening / at night, I have used the Wall with a zebra essay. Camera was a 5D M3 with 580 EXII. It is initially a bit tricky to find the right angle but try after recently sitting the light then perfect. The photos of this review were made in ISO 1250, M-mode, F4 and TTL flash (-2/3).
For handling:
The Bounce Wall is talking about one -> bulky abwinken to. The solution is fast mounted - but: this is a very handsome package and no longer easy to carry. For this purpose, it is susceptible to wind due to the area of the Wall. The lightweight arm of Wall moves clear and the construction creaks clearly audible. Ok - to the light.
Benefits:
The Wall is sufficient for Portrait / Half portrait photography. Yes on the focal length and angle of view you get a well-scattered light effect which is not comparable to a direct Aufsteckblitz. The light is much softer and also in portrait orientation, the Wall has a positive effect. In addition: by a strong orange card can be (also mostly at night more orange) adjust the light of the flash to the temperature of the background.
Conclusion:
For fast shooting the Wall is really great and close at hand. The weight of the construction is low - however, the structure is gigantös and you do inadvertently quickly "on thick trousers". Although the Wall was quite susceptible to wind, it now has three shoots well and it belongs firmly to my equipment with them.
Whether you want to spend the same money for all reflector surfaces 6 or less for the first basic set, everyone must judge himself. Strong buy recommendation for a good product.
