First the positive things:
If you go and Bluetooth wireless issues, use the power saving feature and will only write programs that keeps the battery loose eight hours. Maybe even nine or more, but there are too many unknown variables are then but indoors, as one might say that this is safe.
The keyboard can be described as very pleasant and better than some cheap laptop keyboard. You can, taking into account the size, keep up definitely with upscale models and I was therefore pleasantly surprised. Another plus punk is that the machine is very quiet. You can hear the fan while in absolute peace in the area, but I do not feel the noise disturbing. On the way it is then not matter anyway!
Important for me are the three USB ports, as well as the VGA output for monitors or official, if you time has to give a lecture.
The graphics chip is not able to display live streams liquid, but as multimedia is not a priority for this device, which is irrelevant to me. Even I can not understand that some of the previous speakers denounce the angle of inclination of the device, which is in my opinion more than adequate.
But now to the smaller drawbacks in my opinion, deserve in the sum a star deduction:
The arrangement of additional keys struck me negatively. I work a lot with latex and ensprechend also with formulas, so I use the arrow keys and the "end" key use for normal text workers. The latter is only accessible via the Fn key, which I can not understand, because it seems to be the (perhaps over more fluid) "Print Screen key" has given the preference. Far more serious is that is located next to the arrow keys "Up" and "Page Down" button, which, like the arrow keys smaller than the rest of the keys. It happens inevitably that one comes every third or fourth time on a screen button, and then jump in the same paragraphs back and forth. For the flow of writing that is very annoying.
Furthermore, the touch pad, as has been noted here, very sensitive and in my view also too sensitive. It often happens that you just once briefly hinüberstrecht with your thumb, and then the cursor moves from the text and marks a section, and deletes. In normal text work should therefore disable the TP, which indeed just goes, in my case, I am, however, often rely on.
This, as well as the arrangement of the keys could have been avoided and therefore clearly be assessed as negative points.
Another negative point is the mass of software that is already installed on the device (and their settings) and leads that the netbook starts much too cumbersome. I'm going to completely install in the next few days the new OS, perhaps even Linux because me something beastly gets on my nerves. However, this is unfortunately now standard (in my Thinkpad I was not yet accustomed to) and should therefore not be further brücksichtigt.
All in all, I recommend the device each. For those who travel a lot, just a little surf or want to write e-mails, it's perfect. In office work you have to take a cut in smaller. I also recommend to order one of these neoprene cases so that protection is can ave.
