... The visual expectation and the reality are unfortunately somewhat apart. The timber, which can be seen on the product image, acts "shabby" as driftwood. So I had the lamp also imagined and (to match the rest wood shade in the bedroom) therefore also ordered two pieces as bedside lamps. When they arrived (delivery quickly and properly), I was once disappointed: The wood was smooth and dark (see photo). The product picture here on Amazon, it has not much to do. My husband liked the lights but still, so we kept it. The other processing and quality of the lamp, however, is impeccable. Therefore: Do not be fooled by the image!
