The last volume of excellent trilogy, but leaves hungry ...

The last volume of a trilogy excellent. Nevertheless I find that this third volume appears to have been botched by the author. Many scriptwriting tracks which deserved to be explored and a final outcome happens too fast for my taste.
These three books came out at very close intervals, especially the last two. Brent Weeks would he sacrificed his writing calls to the editor? Or maybe is it just the disappointment of finishing this incredible story? ...
