I have now for a few days before I had the Lattissima Pro in use the Lattissima Plus EN 520th
First thing first: the taste of the coffee is the same, nothing has changed.
My comparison or the evaluation thus refers to a comparison with the Model EN520:
- The package was no invoice, after a call from Amazon I erfahrem that Amazon switches to paperless and you can print the bill itself (I like that, you just have to know)
- The machine itself was super packed, only the named in describing test strip for water hardness was not a call from the manufacturer DeLonghi showed that these test strips are not settled - for whatever reason. I then found the lady on the phone the right setting for the water hardness internet.
- The assembly of the machine is simple and does not differ so much from the EN 520. This is all self-explanatory for someone who is familiar with the EN 520.
All others must probably NEN look in the manual throw.
- The machine acts as the high-quality EN 520 is concerned, both in terms of technology as well as the materials. instbesondere the drip tray is great, beautiful hard and high quality. The belgium cup footprint looks classy.
- Water container and capsule container are larger - I like that. Overall, the machine is a bit bigger, but it is still to be described as "small" and looks great in the kitchen. A Coffee Machine is many times larger.
- The milk foam is a little harder as the EN 520 in the maximum setting, the sugar cube test is passed. I always use only the minimum setting.
- Rinsing the milk container after use is more beautiful, because now the knob is turned over in the right position for it. In the EN 520 you had to press the button for more than 2 years we had to repeatedly press (and then hold) until the rinsing finally began.
- I like the touch panel, is informative and can look classy and high quality, the whole machine. The settings are so simple and self-explanatory. The display shows instructions to the cleaning and operation.
- The machine heats up faster as my old EN 520. In addition, the coffee is brewed hot. Whether that also was so hot in the EN 520 at the start and has lost over time something I can not say more now. Anyway, I burn my mouth, if I want to drink immediately. that were with the EN 520 is not (more?) that way.
- The machine now also offers the possibility to prepare only hot water with the enclosed water spout. This feature is practically useless, because then the machine and everything is self around it splashed with water. Here I prefer but then the kettle.
- The cleaning of the machine and the individual parts is very easy, every few days I take the parts anyway as recommended the dishwasher.
All in all I am very happy with the machine.
Ample an EN 520 is all, the coffee tastes the same and the system for the milk foam is the same.
To put it as one of my previous reviewers:
If the money is left, then the EN 750 is the better choice because of the look and feel, who have to look at it money should take the EN 520.
