The soundtrack is heavily influenced by hip hop, RnB and Neo-Soul.
RZA himself and other members of the Wu-Tang Clan like Ghostface Killah, U-God, Method Man and Raekwon are represented.
Other contributing artists on this disc include Kool G Rap, Kanye West, Pusha T, Corinne Bailey Rae, Wiz Khalifa,
Danny Brown, Joell Ortiz, MOP, Pharoahe Monch and The Black Keys.
RZA it is well done, the music from several genres to a soundtrack coordinated.
The songs and some sounds to stimulate a mental cinema. RZA it understands implement a vision in a soundtrack.
The atmosphere of this soundtrack is just right, from the beginning to the end.
The beginning The Baddest Man Alive by the Black Keys and RZA gives a good taste of the following tracks.
The mood is followed by a roller-coaster ride. Time play The Revelations a chilling soul number and a few minutes later
comes the Wu-Tang Clan to a beat like a locomotive in Rivers Of Blood and destroy their opponent verbally.
So the change of mood is more than 15 tracks to the end where Wiz Khalifa in I Go Hard is a successful end.
Some songs like Chains of Corinne Bailey Rae act very emotional and you can empathize as she is shackled to chains.
Other songs in turn provided with strong and aggressive lyrics like in Black Out of Ghostface, MOP and Pharoahe Monch.
Producing music RZA has as you know already on it for a long time.
The RZA it understands how to create really good soundtracks like the of Kill Bill 1 & 2, Ghost Dog The Way Of The Samurai
or like this one, you know now the latest. Actors he can quite well as he has already demonstrated, inter alia, in American Gangster.
Now raises only the question how well he arrives in his directorial debut with the viewers.
For me, this is the best soundtrack (with some Wu-Tang flavor) for a long time.
