The Man * X * X Mecan

I call it getting the second phase of ZZ, marked by the two discs Degüello and the subsequent El Loco, which was in some ways the precursor to the next phase (ZZ Top goes synth). Dusty and Reverend Willy decided not to wear their imperial face sweater. Have Mercy.

Degüello is perhaps my favorite album. But that changes often times as a longtime supporter of the Druids exhibit. Anyway, it's a very powerful produced, dusty piece FatTexMex rock first cabin and let the little schmusigeren predecessor Tejas behind.

From my whopping 5 * with buy recommendation (if possible the record)
The old original LP sounds miles better than the sterile Silberling, but we know that "Vinylomaniacs" anyway;)
