For battery-professionals certainly nothing new, but maybe helpful for someone who has not yet addressed the issue: In the past I have always made the battery / batteries only to the total capacity (2500 mAh, etc.), and thought, making it the longest get useful life. But does not, at least not for devices draw little power, such as computer mice, or only once every few weeks be used once. Here the rate of self-discharge (ie, when the device is not turned on) much more important for when the next battery / battery change is due. And at the self-discharge the maxE are just good.
