Live in New York City (Audio CD)

Customer Review

"It's alright to have a good time" The Live Album 1975 - 1985 may well good conscience be called the best live album of all time and live in New York City it manages to connect. Were released after the reunion of the E-Street Band in 1999 and the release of the album "Tracks" on the mostly very old pieces from the Boss it took that dream team of rock back to the stadiums and halls in the world. Anyone who has ever had the chance to experience a concert of the master, knows that the magic which assumes can not put into words, I try it anyway. The double CD starts with the permanent tour-opener "My Love will not let you down" and immediately you're back in the rush of memories, one evening with 40,000 friends as a member of a large family. Here are a few classics, such as "Prove it All Night" which gave it so have often heard. Several highlights are between some set, the eerily beautiful howling "Youngstown" or just rousing strong and restrained instrumented version of Atlantic City. The River shines through the saxophone intro of Big Man and a modified peaceful arrangement. The classic "Out in the Street" is finally presented as a live version of the best band in the world. In addition, also a usual good version of "Born to Run" with has arrived yet on the first CD. so that it includes eleven tracks, contrary to this page. The second CD starts with "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out" which again includes the compulsory Introduction of the band in which Springsteen a gospel preacher reads equal its fair. Unfortunately, the solos of the musicians were from very humble. Then comes the great and controversial masterpiece 41 shots, in their singing uninstrumentiert each member a few lines, and then later ends in an impressive full-band version. Here are some old songs like "Do not Look Back" "Jungleland" and the rocking "Ramrod" as a deep-gloomy version of his classic "Born in the USA" in which he presents his skills as a top guitarist proof , The album ends with "If I Should Fall Behind", as sung verse of the individual band members, at the conclusion of all common ... goose bumps feeling. Since the fans have this CD anyway, one can only advise any other, this with 140 minutes the best rock 'n Rolls to buy rand-packed album, better you will never served. The Boys are back in town and with a playfulness and humor, as it is probably unique.
