I have always followed Tomtom, I had 3 years Tomtom Go Live 1005 and again before a different range of the oldest brand.
I start right away with what displeases me:
More ranges change over time, the less opportunities.
On my first GPS tomtom, I could perform an advanced route planning:
As Liberal nurse, it was a great option because I could go the full distance of the different places I had to go and a click will move to the next.
Arrives 1005 and already, this feature disappeared so interesting and requested.
Big disappointment but the favorite places you could rename and thus keep a certain fluidity.
There, with the Go 6000 is also finished !!!
we enter the favorite places, recent addresses used are kept and that's it!
In short, it's very very destabilizing and debilitating as part of my work where I need to replace various firms both in town that campaign, it is not necessarily clear and legible to retain everyone's Address and if I get 50-60 addresses favorites, it is much easier to be able to rename addresses with the names of the people who live by a simple address, which will be very long and laborious.
I think I read a comment in this direction, but I did not think it was going that far in the not practical.
it's very very disturbing especially that I remember very well that at the time already the 1005 French users and the United States complained of loss of functionality of the unit.

But another problem, this one minor, is that the address taken is less easy than the 1005.
If we want to enter the numbers, this requires more manipulations.
On 1005: one returns the address, and another screen, the number. it's clear, it's clean.
the GO 6000: must hold down a key on the keyboard and press the number or you press on the keypad menu. They could have done better.
Very interesting feature: when you have an address, there is a car park icon, touch it and you will see all the surrounding parking lots, on the map and list view.
not bad at all !! they could also mark the fare, but hey, it is already a net appreciable progress
In short, there's better and much worse and it degrades over time.
The quality of reception and routing of execution speed improves.

But the services and features degrade eventually harm professional use.
Now I see on the internet many delivery drivers, home workers asking questions on the same subjects as me.
The attitude of tomtom is dangerous and I really ended my ask to use my smartphone as a GPS, I would be an economic gain of 300 for features that are not quite so complicated to implement.
I really struggle to understand how a company can degrade its product offering over time.
I met 3 stars but it is a warning to some Tomtom, besides the Danger Zones option is limited, I believe 25 / year, which is extremely unfair since it is free as an application smartphone elsewhere.
In addition, it requires no fees Tomtom, data is provided by the state. it is a cost to the user rather unworthy and incomprehensible.

Following use of short, I was so disappointed that I have to send it back.
This is the first time this happens, I am extremely disappointed and annoyed at having bought this GPS eyes closed trusting the brand Tomtom.
In use, here are the results:
- Disappearance of the display of the rolled speed
- Speed Limit Indication of far too small and the speed limit displayed in red goes unnoticed when one is of 6 inches
- Disappearance of the audio alert Speeding
- Disappearance of different alerts sound choice
- Worse than the general readability Tomtom Go Live 1005 while the screen is 6 inches !!
- Lower general ergonomics of the device: To access the menu, you must not press the screen but the button at the bottom left.
This GPS is simply unusable in the same minimalist professional setting. I am horribly disappointed.
Finally be aware that the menu has really become stunted and the choices are as you understand, now virtually nonexistent.
GPS this is an empty box and I return to my TomTom Go Live 1005, which was not perfect since it lacked the advanced course planning with the choice to return multiple addresses for the same course [eg go from A to B and C and back to A in a same course]
but at least I can use it for a minimum spot me.
There, it's so very ergonomic, so badly thought out. By trying to oversimplify, they really do anything.
I can only put 1 star and strongly advise against buying this product Tomtom Go 6000
This is really the first time in my life that I find no other solution than to return a product.
That said, if you still have doubts anyway, remember to imagine a screen of 15.24 cm (6 inches) on the windshield, I suggest you go see it before you order it because it creates real unz dead zone in the fields of vision. but that is the least of worries of this device
