Power Of Love (Audio CD)

Customer Review

I was lucky, even before publication of a review copy of getting "Power Of Love" in their hands. Although announced by 13 tracks are only twelve on it, but that's enough for a taste.
Rosenstolz have evolved and again sound different than on the previous album "box-office poison". They now keep a fine balance between very melodic electropop ("Sternraketen", "Come with me," "48 Stunden") and acoustic pieces - here stands out in particular the song "Day in Berlin" shows that with acoustic guitar and violin a waltz strikes, thereby creating an atmosphere as they might have been in Marlene Dietrich Berlin of the Weimar Republic.
Most of the pieces without the former inaccessible drama, the lyrics are written everyday language. Although this means commerciality in the best sense; but you can still the old Rosenstolz still hear from each song. This album also contains, in my opinion the best piece that Rosenstolz have ever written "paradise" - proof that dance music and ballad are not mutually exclusive.
