Why this version?
I opted for the white WiiU Basic Pack with Wii Party U and Nintendo Land, because the value for money (I paid about 235) is very good. In this pack you have included the two games and Nintendo Land Wii U Party and a WiiMote. The console is white in and has a memory of 8 gigabytes. Since it is possible to connect another storage medium to 2 terabytes, the argument of the lack of space was exhausted directly. Furthermore, the usual power and connection cables are included in the pack. Of course, a sensor bar for Wiimotes is, so no need to purchase additional accessories.
Commissioning:
The preparation of the console was very easy. A guidance lies certainly in, I think is not necessary, since the structure is self-explanatory. The establishment of the panel was very good. One criticism here is the variety of updates. The console had four to five times to restart and update. For me it was irritating and I thought even if possibly there had been a system error. The good introduction and explanation using the gamepad makes up for it, however.
Nintendo Country:
Nintendo Land is of course intended as a demonstration of the new possibilities of WiiU and I am very satisfied with the game. One is led through the park, contains the short matches in the main series such as Mario, Zelda or Pikmin. The mini-games are designed partly for the single player and partly for multiplayer (cooperative or versus). All mini-games the GamePad is used exemplary.
My main criticism here is that you should come to the full enjoyment of the game have at least one other WiiMote, as some games next to the GamePad need another WiiMote for another player. This criticism, however, is weakened since this Pack with Wii Party U contains a WiiMote. There are also mini-games that you can not play with two players, which I think is very unfortunate. Despite my Nintendo likes country very well.
Wii Party U:
Wii U Party is a party game in which 1-4 players can play various mini-games, board games and gamepad game modes. The game is played with the Mii, a kind personalized character that each player can be put. There are over 80 mini-games in all directions. In the board games there are various modes such as a party island where the GamePad serves as dice option. In the gamepad game modes Two players on the gamepad to play with or against each. The mini-games I find it very successful and also board games liked me from the latter, however, I would me more desired. Again, the main point of criticism is on the WiiMote. A WiiMote is the pack, otherwise the game would not be possible. For a game of two people but you need two Wiimotes. For three you need three, the whole thing goes to four.
Now I wonder: Would not it have been possible, the GamePad to use as a kind of more-attainable WiiMote? Also you need for games that use no Wiimotes, but are intended for several players, though Wiimotes. I could so far not play all the mini-games, as some are designed for three players and therefore need a lot of Wiimotes, although these do not appear in mode. Not giving in. Also you would have so may differ from the limit of four players, a "real" party I imagine four namely before pretty boring. Furthermore, I would have liked a stronger involvement of the gamepad in the game like Nintendo Land.
Summary:
The WiiU is a very good game console for the family but also for individuals. The GamePad opens up many new possibilities for games. Even the solid game foundation speaks for the console. The purchase of additional Wiimotes certainly makes sense. It costs extra, but Nintendo has proven that the controller of the consoles are well designed and are not permanently changed because of profit. Thus, they are an investment in the excellent gameplay.
Furthermore, I recommend that each prospective once trailer and gameplay footage to the console and the games to watch on the Internet!
