The answer is no. The mood on this disc rather applied to 'Virgin Suicides' (which is great for a soundtrack ...) can dance, you here to do nothing. Apart from the CD with such an open disc Startup dirt is provided which always starts when you push them into the PC.
Why then still 5 points? I ask myself, because when I listened to 'Pocket Symphony' for the first time (via mp3 player in the train), I fell asleep - well, I was just tired ... Bahn acts. Anyway, I think that this record deserves a chance and keep them here for underestimated and undervalued - I go in good faith believes that Air not run out of ideas, but this disc have just created with the objective, the quietest, most chilled out and most minimalist music to make, which is possible for them and thus forcing the audience to listen.
For me it worked, and I just like to listen to songs like 'Left Bank' or 'Once upon a time' or 'Mer de Japon' (actually the fastest number that can resonate, that they have not forgotten anything). The compositions, arangiert with glockenspiel, tambourine, xylophone, or Japanese instruments such as Koto (?) And shamisen (?) Radiate peace and strength from. And the chilling 'Hell of a Party' speaks each of the soul, the use shortly before the cat again the rustling leaves evening to reminisce.
'Pocket Symphony' is seen as really pocket symphony of the common man, the whole album, an acoustic reflection of the half-waking state between sleep and waking (keyword 'Somewhere between waking and sleeping'). And I vow to go to sleep to Pocket Symphony never. And another thing: 'PS' I initially only reluctantly, but now very happy and increasingly pushed into the CDplayer. And suddenly: Is that a trail 'Kelly', because in the subtle beat of 'Napalm Love' lurking? I hoers me on again.
Next time it please again more 'Moon Safari'!
