This 1.Pink Floyd album from 1967 (the only one that was completely under Syd Barrett Director) has very little to do with the later music of Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here not to mention doing all of Division Bell. It reminded me once even a bit of the Beatles sound. Syd Barrett (singer, guitarist, author of 8 songs, bandleader) was still alive and at the peak of his creativity although it already to the creation time of the album consumed much LSD. His childlike naive texts of bicycles, dwarves, scarecrows, unicorns and Siam Cats fasziniern negotiated even now 48 years later.
