Volker Rosin processed on this CD in his usual easy-fuzzy kind with children singing along 13 Beatles songs. Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed by this CD: somehow I would have hoped for but that the complexities and ironies of originals comes across better. That this is not so, has textual and musical reasons. Of course, the Beatles texts for children can not always take, but here the melodies of the Beatles are often very simple texts or those that have now nothing to do with the original, has been imposed upon. Thus, from Lady Madonna "Pummel, the poodle" or "Help" the globe-song. Furthermore, the choice of songs is often on the music very simple knitted pieces like "Yellow Submarine" or "Good Day Sunshine". The arrangements are often not very sophisticated, and there are relatively few musical small details that made interesting simple melodies with the Beatles. But that enough of dissent: it is still strong enough pieces left for the usual high-quality Volker rosin-style (for example, "Hey You" or the children's version of "All Together Now") that you can then be a shame is it that CD contains only 33 minutes of music. Overall, it's still an above-average album for children (my kids sing along enthusiastically), of which not more than the parents who were in their youth times avowed Beatles fans, would have expected a little more. Where, after all, seeks to impart important cultural property of the 20th century ... ;-))
