The clock pleased Duch a very clean finish and a really big digital display. In places with particularly good reception of the time signal a correct setting of all data takes place after a few minutes. The Beechwood consists in reality of a completely flat, about a centimeter thick pressboard (or similar). This is covered with a film that imitates Buchholz. Now Buchholz is textured uninspiring. Nevertheless, the imitation is so unconvincing that the clock in my opinion, in addition to real wood looks quite awkward. The edges of the cardboard plate are not glued, but only see dark out. The frame also does not consist of four glued items, but includes in the middle of a (stamped?) Big hole, in which the actual clock was added. Overall, the clock can not be the called price optically quite do justice. Who can do without the hygrometer, gets much more favorable offers from plastic. Actually a nice kitchen clock, no moving parts are present. The idea is so ugly - albeit strong - implemented that few friends to be well prepared for this model.
