When Paul McCartney launched a new "Archives", I thought that finally official versions of what the "bootleggers" spread on the market for over 40 years would finally be available. But certainly not with this edition. If the container (box / book) is the height (unpublished photos, memorabila, interviews ...), what about the content: a remastered version of the album (but for one like me who own stamps the original vinyl, and 1993 cd ...), a bonus CD (25 minutes to break everything!) and DVD (25 'of relative interest). When you know that it circulates on the parallel market demos, concerts, TV shows and radio, alternative versions, rehearsals ... that represent hours of sound and images, it is far from exhaustive . Obviously, everyone is not my chance to be a fan of Macca and he could collect his work over 40 years. So these boxes represent a great opportunity for those who want the essence of his music, that is to say especially the content of the original album, alternate versions of singles and their specific B faces. The same problem also with the albums remastered by George Harrison which include 1 or 2 while there unreleased demos of almost all titles.
