Unpacking, VGA test to verify that the screen works do not worry, I tell myself that the next day I try to exploit its full HDMI quality
The day after, I plug in a good HDMI cable 5m: no video signal, the graphics card does recognize the screen, but really no signal.
I blame immediately I plug the cable to the TV: nickel signal test ... well ... a little HDMI cable that I use often: Still no signal ...
I check the connectors and on the LG connector, moving inwards, I get to have the signal!
By cons, with the HDMI cable 5m, still no signal. The connectors may be slightly different, the LG does not look good to accept it. Perhaps is it simply due to the fact that the LG is greedy at the current intensity which could be a bit feeble face a short cable?
Finally, I plug a DVI cable, and it works rather better. Fortunately, it would have made me a little sweat to return to the screen just a very rough HDMI input. This approximation gives me an extra cost for a DVI cable, it's a shame because it is expected to make a deal on this screen.
The product is attractive for its price, but it may fall on small annoying things like in my case.
Aside from manufacturing quality, it is rather a screen with a good matte panel. I have no complaints on that side.
In short, I recommend the LG but being aware that it is possible to return the item for an unfortunate decision.
