I have first, as far as was possible, all silicone in the shower away with a cutter knife. However, despite all attempts, I got the residue (small Knubbelchen or thin strips) in places not away, especially where the silicone was applied in a depression. Due to the partly negative reviews I first hesitated with the purchase, but since I was at my wit's end, the silicone then ordered yet. The gel-like fluid (Caution: drips!) I have applied with a brush on silicone residues and leave for several hours. Then I simply rubbed with a moistened scouring pad made of stainless steel which daub silicone. I am extremely happy with the product and can not understand the bad reviews. It is important that you first as much as possible out cuts the silicon and treated the remains with the silicone remover. It says so in the manual.
