Whether they clearly understood: I did not buy this filter to filter UV, but only to protect my goal. However, it is obvious that after several pictures under a full moon and face the sun, the flare that emanated from my photos when the filter was mounted led me to remove these conditions in shooting. In daylight and back to the sun, no problem found, however it is strongly recommended to remove it during night shots containing bright light sources like streetlights or moonlight.
