I was impressed with the numerous HX20V
Video recording formats. Because I want (such as with
DMC-TZ10 or my DMC-FZ150 Panasonic) ago

"Bridge" camera to be plugged into a shirting or

"Smear" is when sharp light falls into the lens
and CCD sensors gleaming (vertical) stripes
arise. The TZ10 should therefore be replaced.

A neighbor bought a HX10V. He wanted very much on the
Price watch. But now he is with this camera extremely
happy because he is not a freak and has little desire to
to plague with technology. He enjoys holding the many opportunities,
deal with automatics.
For me I had but caught a HX20 eye because they
so many video recording formats offer, especially 1080p
with 50 frames per second (the HX10 only 1080i, thus only
interlaced).
As for other features, the HX10 is largely
identical to the HX20. The choice is really big.
There are certainly hardly anyone who truly all these

But one or the other will want to use every owner,
because it simplifies the work and often opens up a little,

I myself like the pictures from the SONY better than those
from the TZ31 or TZ10 from Panasonic. That may partly
be because the Sony cameras to more than 18 million pixels
have the chips. The Panasonic TZ25 and TZ31 cameras work
contrast with "only" 12 or 14 million pixels. It's what I very
have particularly tried, even lighter, with the SONY recordings
to make in low light conditions. Where my FZ150

convinced me that Sony still flawless images in
I could detect no disturbing noise.
The bottom line is, with my current knowledge, I would have a
DSC-HX10 clearly prefer the DMC-TZ31 from Panasonic and

would that be enough HX10 even at superior level.
It is interesting the way the model policy of Panasonic:

Whether 20x or 16x zoom, seems unimportant to me. Because extreme with so

If one extends the zoom in Panasonic electronically, is the
Image quality quickly to its knees. But Sony's have with their
18 million pixels apparently still considerable reserves that then
can be used. Anyway, it seems to me that the explanation
that the images of the Sony's are still very sharp then.
Once I continue on a sound report

PS .:
After etlichem back and forth I finally now at
DSC-HX10V stuck.
There is personal with me a very special reason:
The camera is used mainly for video, and there has
the recording format 1440 x 1080i proved to be very useful.
It provides vertically a FullHD resolution. The 1.33 times stretch
the pixels in the horizontal direction not incident on. But what
very pleasant stands out the possibility of this format is convenient
- Even on an i5 notebook - to be able to cut.
The immense wealth of data about 1920 x 1080p is not available.
The perceptible with the human eye on a quality
FullHD TV with 1440 x 1080i but equally good. For ready-to videos
in FullHD is this special format of this camera is of great
Advantage.
And the GPS logging a distance traveled (only in this
Model available!) Also works great, is great fun.
