There are two of Samsung VGA adapter, which is one of the AA AH1NAMB and then this model here, the AA-AV2N12B. This one simply brings only the VGA output of the notebook to normal plug, connecting a beamer works then without problems. The notebook provides already an analog signal to the appropriate connector.
The AH1 is apparently a micro HDMI to VGA converter that converts the digital signal from the laptop to an analog and should therefore also work on other devices (no guarantee, but as I understand the article).
The latter is thus certainly more universal, but I prefer to trust rather than a mini-converter the existing analog signal of my notebook. For the female's finally on the notebook off ..

Update: I have now tested the adapter to a screen, and he supported my notebook the full 1920x1200 resolution of the screen.
