After Firecracker album "Burning In Heavens" I was curious to see how the band would develop. Lo and behold, the angels have grown up! At least they listen to adults in than ever! An epic intro you need anyway in the industry, is important but what comes after. And that has it all. "God vs. Satan" is an ideal opener, both for the album, and later for the live shows. The following song "Ruler of the Night", "Black Art" and "Ave Maria (Lady)" can convince and surprise some with unusual tones / sounds. To "you" are probably the future many small Goth babies are conceived and "Ride of the Dead" is the perfect soundtrack to the Battle of Minas Tirith (Lord of the Rings, Part 3. But that need not be mentioned so sure!). Even after it pops continue with "Lower (I have to dig)" and "Pain is my" until my favorite is on this album. "My Love" has almost Rammstein hints, but does not sound like a copy selbiger! Really very successful. With "In the heart lives the sorrow" and the bonus track "bow down to you" then ends a consistently very good album, which is also in its presentation (of course I have the digi-pack) is convincing! So why only 4 stars? Because for me it is not quite as epic sounds like its predecessor. Would there be half-steps, it would be 4.5 stars!
