The game is for two to four players, if you own two of these games, you can even fifth or sixth play.
The rules are really easy to learn and quite intuitive. The game is turn-based and divided into separate phases: Phase exchange, construction and raw materials obtained. The goal is to collect 10 point, where you can lose at the enemy quite well already acquired points again. By city expansions or a certain amount of cards you can secure good benefits for the colonization of the island.
I only know the game of dice to The Settlers of Catan, so I can not draw any comparison with the original game, but I find the card game better than the game of dice. Here comes an interactivity between the players and once you it will approach comes with more than two players to the cause certainly really exciting.
A good game for in between!
