Very often I have clearly perceived the sound of the LP as essential "musical" (z. B. involvierender, emotionally appealing and dynamic) when compared between CD and vinyl record. This is precisely why I have Peter Maffay`s "Tabaluga and the signs of the times" acquired as a vinyl album. Unfortunately, this record does not meet the expectations. The sound gains against CD can be described only as minimal. And many titles of the album are strongly taken "from the center", so that the balance control needs to be frequently operated. The number of titles would justify a double LP. Probably the KlangqualiƤit would be so, as one may expect from a vinyl record. The music of Peter Maffay is properly adjusted. The outstanding Tiel "Time stops only in dreams of", however, was composed by Pascal Kravetz. All in all I will not shake the feeling that one has the vinyl LP only launched in order to encash a few more buyers to meet without their desires for sound quality and beautiful, informative presentation in the least. Hopefully not as a lasting sign of the times (ruthless profit optimization) can be seen!
