The Russell Hobbs Chester kettle is tiny compared to my past. He has 1 L capacity. Inside, there is a subdivision for 1-3 cups. With cups is here but really the small version meant. For "pots" simply halved the quantity, so i can order or fill two large cups. The surface is made of polished stainless steel, it is reflected, but also have to clean more. A small orange light indicates when the kettle was switched on and goes out with the cooking stop automatic. This ensures that nothing can boil over. The cable can be tucked under the plate when the outlet is nearby. Otherwise, the cable with a length of just 60cm is very short, but adequate in my kitchen. What I really like, is the chute, as nothing goes wrong, nothing drips. Which is great. A star I pull from for the missing light, the water level indicator can not therefore be clearly recognized and you always have to look into the digester, if there is enough water available. In addition, the Chester 20190-70 is a bit hot when cooking process from the outside, as this but most do cooker, that is no reason to deduct another star for me.
CONCLUSION: The small boiler is ideal for smaller amounts or for the office. Thoroughly recommended.
