Andy Carson, the three ??? still know from the case with the black cat, Justus, Peter and Bob asks for help. Because in the amusement park, where he works, the strange events accumulate. The showmen happen numerous accidents, and on the scene are always found mysterious messages. And at night, sneaking a blue beast through the park
163. Follow after his first appearance in The Black Cat Andy Carson has again an order for Justus, Peter and Bob. In number 167, entitled The blue beast he calls the three detectives to a nearby amusement park, where numerous provoked accidents threaten the workforce. After some initial information and the first suspicions to separate even the paths of the three ???, so for now Bob gets a little solo adventure for stakeout. But here it is quite different, and he has a rather strange encounter with a smart girl pretty keeps him busy and, with its very direct way for very good entertainment. Unfortunately, this episode has no relation to the actual case and was simply inserted just like the eponymous blue beast. This, too, is told quite entertaining, only the resolution is weakening but tidy and looks very fake. The same applies to the final of the actual case, even if the motive of the offender is understandable, the execution of the deed acts but badly designed. But added, the course to get there is quite entertaining, the puzzles are devised creative and fit very well into the scenery. Especially the double reference to two different threads can convince it. The journey is the goal, here is a really successful result before that can score with many exciting scenes, only the resolutions and the linkage of the individual strands have the consequence can be better developed.
Alyssa, the cheeky girl from the little episode with Bob, is spoken by Sonja Stone. With its bold and quick-witted nature and the expressive and unerring voice puts skilful accents and designed this scene very much alive. Andy Carson is spoken just as it did in The Black Cat by Stefan swath. He also convinces with its catchy rhythm, and his glaubhaftem act. Mogens of Gadow has a successful appearance as Nicky Delores, he set to music very catchy. Other speakers include Celine Fontanges, Carin Abicht and Angela Stresemann.
The acoustic design is again typically varied for the series, but usually restrained, so that the dialogues are full in the foreground. The sounds stand out in places and scenes can give life. The melodies used to fit each mood and may increase, so that the scene transitions are well designed these yet.
Of course the eponymous blue beast takes the place on the cover, even if this in the story is only a subordinate role. In a gloomy light illuminated and thus extra again creepy. The contorted grimace, the curved horns and the massive bodies are graced by a long curved tail. A very expressive and evocative cover.
Conclusion: The course of action can with some interesting scenes points, led the conversation with Alyssa and Bob and the mysterious message at the crime scenes. Unfortunately, the resolutions can not quite keep up and look pretty designed. Otherwise, a very successful result.
